National Dance Institute
New at Cochiti this year! We're very excited to have the National Dance Institute (NDI) at Cochiti. This is a dance program that supports the goals of the school. The program will be offered to our 5th graders and will include a performance in December. Find out more by going to their website: http://www.ndi-nm.org/ or just ask your 5th grader about all the exciting things they are learning.

Cochiti Community Corner

The officers you see listed below took office last May and will serve until May 2015. As you can see, we are operating without a President, which is a position that needs to be filled. If anyone is interested, you will be mentored by other officers who have been active at Cochiti over the years. Your main responsibility will be to serve as a link between the staff and the Cochiti Community Group (CCG). We are a friendly group dedicated to enriching our children’s school experience through raising funds for a variety of activities (including fieldtrips, after-school enrichment programs and the National Dance Institute program here at the school).  At Cochiti, we recognize that the education of our children is a team effort. We are always looking for fresh ideas about how to increase parent involvement at the school. Becoming involved in the CCG is a great way to meet the Cochiti staff and find out how Cochiti works. Parent involvement does make a difference – and your child will love you for it! If interested please contact us at:

cochiticommunitygroup@gmail.com, or leave your contact information in the office.

Also, we are in search of a coordinator for our D.A.D.S. program. Speak with Ms. Cummins if interested.

Stop by the Conference Room (first room to the left as you enter the school) during Open House and meet your Council. Also, please join us on August 20 at 8am for our first meeting (also in the Conference Room). We look forward to meeting you!

Congratulations to our new CCG Officers:
