Cochiti Community Corner

 

Hello Cochiti Families,

Spring is here and Cochiti Community Group (CCG) Officer elections are just around the corner. Interested persons need to be nominated at our April monthly meeting (April 30 8a or 2p). Several positions are open and waiting for YOU.  Join the friendly, fun group that helps raise money and provides exciting opportunities our kids here at Cochiti. Our Cochiti Community Group has grown to be one of the best school organizations in APS providing opportunities for families to get involved…and we get better every year. You can be a part of it. These are the positions that are open:

President/Staff Liason
Duties include:
* being the CCG contact person for Cochiti Staff
*Attending and running the monthly meetings
*Ensuring officers are on task with their duties
*General troubleshooting

Secretary
*Responsible for communications within the CCG and schoolwide information concerning the CCG
*Responsible for agendas and minutes for the monthly meetings

Cochiti Instructional Council(CIC)Representative
*Serves as the parent representative at the monthly CIC meetings

Esquina Comunitaria

Hola familias de Cochiti, 

¡Espero que todos pasaron muy buenas vacaciones y que disfrutaron el tiempo con sus familias y amigos! Aquí en Cochiti tenemos muchas cosas emocionantes en los próximos meses y me encantaría ver a ustedes participando. Tenemos la Noche de Ciencias el 4 de Febrero a las 6pm. El Consejo Comunitario de Cochiti será proporcionando pizza y bebidas para este evento. ¡La primera Ortografía anual de Cochiti arrancó este año y fue un gran éxito! Gracias a todos nuestros voluntarios y patrocinadores que hicieron posible este evento para los niños. También hemos iniciado unas programas extracurriculares como teatro, club de cocina y la lectura.

No se olviden de unirse a nosotros para nuestras reuniones mensuales de la comunidad llevó a cabo el tercer miércoles de cada mes a las 8am en Salón 9.
